As part of the project "Mémoire(s) de Suisse romande", the archives of the RTS are organizing a public viewing in the multi-purpose hall of Haute-Nendaz on the 22nd of March 2024, at 19h.

How has Nendaz evolved over the decades ? Nendaz of bygone days, a beautiful village living off the land and from cattle breeding, then experienced the coming and building of the dams before opening its doors to the tourism industry and becoming a successful and popular holiday destination.

Documentaries produced by the reporters Stéphane Gabioud and Noémie Guignard consist of archive videos combined with recent interviews. THe projections will be punctuated by contributions from Mélanie Hugon Duc, anthropologist and managing director the the 'Musée de Bagnes' and from Yvan Fournier, teacher and local history enthusiast.

After the viewing, an apéritif will be offered by the local authorities of Nendaz.
